Stömp go acöustic

Stömp Acöustic was recently unveiled at Phoenix Ceilidhs. A project which has been in preparation for some time, the drummerless, ‘unplugged’ quartet isn’t quite as loud, but is guaranteed to be just as good! Drummer Rob Gifford’s commitments with The Committee Band and Chalktown, as well as the demands of his job as a teacher, make it difficult for him to fulfill all of Stömp’s engagements, and so - Stömp Acöustic! Heard at the launch party for ‘I Claim My Five Pounds’: Esme (age 7) announces that “Stömp are better than Busted.” We are not sure who Busted are, so we can’t tell whether that‘s a compliment or not.
We do know we are ‘cool’ though, according to Owen.
